The people were able to use an Android device(given that it is a Sony) or Windows desktop for a long time now but just today the PS4 Remote Play app is going to come out for iOS devices. You are going to be capable of using an iPad or iPhone as a PS4 display over Wi-Fi.
In order to control your PS4, you are also going to be able to use an on-screen gamepad. The app also supports voice chat in supported games, therefore you are able to use the microphone present in your iPhone. For keyboard input, you will also be able to use an iOS device.
The app is compatible with all of the iOS devices that run on the version 12.1 or a fresh one. Sony recommends that in order to get the best results, you should use a 6th-generation iPad or a fresh one, an iPhone 7 or a fresh one, or a 2nd-generation iPad Pro or later. Sony states that the app is not going to be compatible with the DUALSHOCK 4 controller and all games don’t work with the PS4 Remote Play app. The last thing is that the app just works with Wi-Fi, therefore you are not going to be able to use a mobile connection.
