National Security usable, Ernest Bright Akomea, famously known as ‘Twofold’ has told the Emile Short-drove Commission of Inquiry that he and someone else protected Ningo Prampram MP Samuel Nartey George in the weapon brutality that ejected at La-Bawalashie amid the Thursday, 31 January 2019 Ayawaso West Wuogon by-race.
As per him, he and the legislator were caught amidst the scuffle as firearm using regular citizens on one side, traded fire with National Security agents on the contrary side – an occurrence which happened around the private home of the fundamental resistance National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary applicant, Mr Kwesi Delali Brempong.
‘Twofold’ said he and Mr Sam George would have been hit by the hail of slugs that flew from either side of the fight line if the shooters had truly gone for their enemies on either side.
Twofold said he and Mr Sam George took asylum behind a short divider in the skirmish as the projectiles drizzled.
“Sam George and I would have been hit on the off chance that they were going for their foes”, Mr Akomea told the Commission on Tuesday, 5 March 2019.
He, in any case, noticed that: “I was hit by a stone on my shoulder”, including that: “I and someone else protected Mr Sam George”, clarifying: “In light of the fact that he is a MP, we were attempting to secure him”.
