Kenya officials say, in northern Kenya a helicopter has crashed, it killed 4 American tourists and the Kenyan pilot too.
On Sunday, the helicopter reportedly crashed in Central Island National Park.
Police said on Sunday evening 2 helicopters had landed on the island’s Labolo tented camp – 1 flew away safely. The crash cause is unknown.
According to the local media, Mario Magonga, The pilot once worked for the country’s deputy president and had extensive training and experience.
Previously, Mario Magonga had served as a Kenya Defence Forces pilot, but had been working for a private firm, KIDL Helicopters, since March 2017.
A relative of the pilot and the area’s MP, Richard Onyonka said Cpt Magonga had been cleared to fly several high profile guests in the past, including former US President Barack Obama.
Mr Onyonka told Kenya’s NTV,”he was one of the best helicopter pilots that money could buy.”
There was also an accident occur 3 weeks in which plane crash in Kenya as a result of that 5 people killed included 3 Americans.
