Google at MWC of this year shared some insight on the performance of Android One in the time span of the previous year. For the beginners, they tell that the Android One is there in the low-end segment and it has increased to about 250% year-over-year.

It further displays the increasing popularity of the stripped-down and much-optimized Android One which has caused a number of announcements of Android One devices in the time span of the previous year. Nokia, even in Barcelona declared that three latest Android One-powered handsets are coming – Nokia 4.2, Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 3.2.
At the same time, it took a very big segment of the low-end segment as it tries to present the best possible user experience on devices that feature only 1GB of RAM. As an instance, consider the Nokia 1 Plus.
Google further disclosed that it has partnership with MediaTek and Qualcomm in order to offer chip-level support for Android’s ML kit and Neural Network API.
