Lenovo Z5 Pro GT was introduced back in December as the first ever smartphone in the world to come having Snapdragon 855, but for the reason that the company just offered it for the Chinese market, it is not able to become a popular phone internationally. A couple of months afterwards, the company seems to schedule a fresh launch event, of the Lenovo Z6 Pro this time. As the company Vice President says, the latest handset is scheduled to come out at MWC 2019.
The image is not telling us very much, but the circles mean that a circular coil is present in it for wireless charging. The MWC dates are also there between February 25 and February 28, suggesting that the phone is scheduled to be offered at the booth, but before that it is not yet clear whether a separate launch event is to be organized or not.
Back in November, the Lenovo Z5 Pro got presented having a slider mechanism and we all are waiting to find out whether the Z6 Pro is going to continue the trail or any other thing is getting prepared by the Chinese company. It might come out as an international iteration of the Z5 Pro GT hopefully featuring the X50 modem by Qualcomm and the Snapdragon 855, enabling the connectivity of 5G.
