At least nine people killed while above 50 injured after a devastating fire hit more than 200 slum dwellings in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

According to a local newspaper, four of the victims belong to the same family. Bangladesh record about fire safety isn’t good. The fire officials revealed the probability of short circuit which triggered the fire in Chittagong, 134 miles southeast of Dhaka.
The fire swept through the Bhera Market slum area at around 03:30 local time (21:30 GMT). It was the morning when all were sleeping.
The rescue teams and firefighters reached to the scene but till then fire gutted more than 200 shanty homes. The firefighters control the blazes after five hours of hard work.
