President Akufo-Addo will from Tuesday, February 12, 2019, give legitimate support to the production of the six new regions in the nation.

As per the announcement, the North East and Savannah locales will have their constitutional instruments introduced first on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, preceding the Bono East and Ahafo District on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Western North and Oti areas will get theirs on Friday, fifteenth February 2019.
President Akufo-Addo has said that the formation of the new districts will help advancement in those regions.
