The Pixel-exclusive Call Screen feature of Google was first presented together with the Pixel 3, but it was rolled out for the previous Pixels a number of weeks after that. It can sometimes come out to be useful, while almost all of the people just believe that it is a voicemail greeting and then they hang up. However, in that event in which you can have the caller to play together with Call Screen, it is coming out that you are really able to hear what he/she is saying just by pressing a single volume button.
Whereas in normal cases the live transcriptions of Google are right, but still they are not perfectly accurate at all times. In addition, in case the caller is speaking in a different language, Google is not going to know what is happening. It comes out that you are just able to press a volume button (any option is fine) and get the voice of the caller coming out by means of the earpiece — in the same way as happens in a usual phone call.
This thing appears to be working for almost all of the Pixel owners. The reason is not known why Google hasn’t revealed this option in any way, but it is certainly a useful one.
