For the first time ever, Google raised the prices of its productivity offerings by G Suite Business and G Suite Basic.
Now the business tools by the company are going to set organizations back a further $1 or $2 more, for each user, each month. Therefore, now G Suite Basic is going to have a price tag of $6 per user per month (increased from $5), whereas G Suite Business is to go up to $12 per user per month (increased from $10).
The company says it needs to up the pricing a little big as the tools now offer new features such as artificial intelligence, meeting tools, and other features and apps.
The rise is also linked to an increase in the prices of storage and components, as well as the ever-ongoing trade wars.
On April 2 this year, the latest G Suite prices were made international and are supposed to go live. Those businesses that have by this time started using the service are going to be charged some further whenever their existing subscription finishes up and the time has come to renew it.
For local markets, some adjustments are going to be done to the pricing.
Google wrote that all of those customers who license this via a reseller are supposed to hear from their partners straight about the latest pricing, or they are able to get to their partners proactively.
