Mark Linton, the general manager of product development at Microsoft stated that Microsoft believes that the end of Windows 7 support is going to increase the adoption rate of Windows 10.
He said that Windows 7 support will end in just one year, and therefore, the customers are finding a way to move to assure that they get updated and so on.
He further advised that this probable uptake in Windows 10 is going to be one of the big causes for the range of exciting fresh laptops presented at CES 2019.
Microsoft is going to finish providing updates for Windows 7 in January 2020.
Windows 7 and Windows 8 users were able to get Windows 10 free to all for a year after it came out, but a lot of the people stuck with the tried-and-tested reliability of Windows 7.
Microsoft further added the thing that it was working with laptop producers to make sure that their devices are optimized to work with Windows 10.
Linton said that they have worked very much with their partners on the engineering side in order to get things such as 32GB storage, in order to get the driver model really smooth, get updates working great.
He added that, therefore, regardless of how much you spend, you will have a reliable, great Windows 10 experience.
