Previous President John Dramani Mahama is in the last period of his crusade to be the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress. (NDC) in front of the gathering’s presidential primaries on January 26.
On Saturday, he started his five-day voyage through the Western Region in the Bibiani Constituency.
Mr. Mahama will visit every one of the voting public in the district to meet with the gathering’s agents just as approach the boss and the general population there. He will at that point take his battle toward the Eastern and Volta Regions.
As of now, he has visited the other seven districts including Central, Upper West, Upper East, Northern, Brong Ahafo, Ashanti, and the Greater Accra Regions to meet with to delegates.
In September 2018, the previous President authoritatively propelled his battle in the Central Region, as he offers to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and in this way challenge the 2020 decisions.
Mr. Mahama is among other prominent wannabes inside the NDC who have submitted selection structures to challenge including the previous Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Sylvester Mensah, and Nadowli Kaleo MP, Alban Bagbin.
Different wannabes are Dr. Ekwow Spio Garbrah; a previous Trade and Industry Minister; Former Vice Chancellor of the University for Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Prof. Joshua Alabi, Goosie Tanoh and Nurudeen Iddrisu
There was hypothesis that Mr. Mahama had named Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, girl of previous president and NDC’s organizer, Jerry John Rawlings as his running mate.
