Just now Pandora became more travel friendly for all the Apple Watch users. The iOS app has been updated by the music streaming service and for the wearable it added offline playback, it seems that this is because of the popular demand. Sorry to say, all the people are not going to get access to this latest feature without the need to have a phone, as it is only offered for the paying customers. They are going to get a Premium (for $10 a month) or Pandora Plus (for $5 a month) subscriber to enjoy offline content on the Watch. Furthermore, they are supposed to upgrade to watchOS 5 in order to be able to install the update.
The time Spotify has presented its Apple Watch app for the first time, it has assured to have offline access – a thing that lots of people are by this time waiting for. Apple Music is still possibly going to be the best choice because of its very firm integration with the hardware, but the Pandora (and, after some time the Spotify) subscribers should be grateful to be able to listen to their music offline while they are on the go.
