A subsidiary of the Kantanka Group of Companies, the Kantanka Technological Centre of Excellence (KTCE) has launched an advanced armored vehicle fixed with a laser rangefinder.
Launch of this technological breakthrough took place at the 38th annual Technology Exhibition of the Kantanka Group in Accra. KTCE displayed its products in the exhibition at Gomoa Mpota in the Central Region.
Exoskeletons, saloon cars, military weapons, a customized limousine, stabilizers and a V8 engine block were displayed in the Exhibition.
Theme of the exhibition was “Advancing the frontiers of science, creativity and technology through religion to transform society”, one of the V8 vehicles, christened “Kantanka Otumfuo”, stopped to move after its driver drank an alcoholic beverage just before entering the vehicle
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and other dignitaries, such as the Senior Minister, Mr Yaw Osafo-Maafo; the Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng; Members of Parliament, traditional leaders and representatives of the various security agencies graced the KTCE event with their presence.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu pledged his commitment while speaking to team up with the Founder and Leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission and brain behind the Kantanka Group (KTCE), Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo, to establish a technical school in the Ashanti Region.
