An Accra High Court has put a between time order on the up and coming decision by the restriction National Democratic Congress (NDC) to choose a flagbearer for the election 2020.
It pursued the documenting of a suit by two individuals from the NDC in Accra, who are asserting that the rules for the lead of the decision which has been presented by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the gathering was against the September 1992 establishment of the NDC.
The offended parties, Abdallah Issa from Galelia and James Kabu Natey-Oman from Old Bortianor are in this way looking for an affirmation that the rules distributed by the NDC for the presidential decision is invalid and annulled and that it was ultra vires to the September 1992 constitution of the NDC.
They need the court to proclaim that the presentation of certain qualification criteria as conditions point of reference for Presidential Applicants as a component of the said rules incite the letter and soul of the NDC constitution and are illegal.
The Accra High Court allowed the interval order on Tuesday evening. The offended parties per their suit are looking for reliefs including a statement that the technique received by the NDC by means of the National Executive Committee (NEC) in the arrangement and introduction of the rules together with the revisions without earlier discussion of the National Chamber of Older folks are illegal.
‘A revelation that the usurpation by the Function Executive Committee of teh forces and obligations of the National Executive Committee in regard of the rules for the lead of the Presidential Races in illegal.’
