Mr Carlos Ahenkorah, a Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry has said that local manufacturers across Ghana, to package the products to assure the visibility in the market.
He urged that we must pay attention to the presenting and the packaging of the goods that are made in Ghana, packaging must be done well and the massive industrialization.
Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry added that the government of Ghana would engage manufacturers in workshops to train them on the need to do proper packaging.
Last Wednesday, he advised that when he launched the 2019 Ghana International Trade Fair in Accra. The 23rd Ghana International Trade Fair is scheduled to come off from February 28 to March 11, 2019.
Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited (GTCL) organized the fair with support from the Ministry of Trade and Industry. More than 600 local and foreign exhibitors are expected to participate in it.
Entertainment programs and conferences will also be organized alongside the event to promote networking and partnerships.
The event is on the theme: “Made in Ghana, Globally accepted.” He explained that the fair was being held in line with the strategic plan of the government to promote domestic trade. He added that it was one of the major drivers for industrialization.
