The Staff of L’Oreal West Africa in Accra took responsibility to clean the La Beach as part of this year’s edition of their annual charity drive on ‘Citizen’s Day’. The staff engaged in the clean-up exercise.
Since 2010, L’Oreal has mobilized its staff on ‘Citizen’s Day’ to dedicate and contribute their one working day in a year towards making dissimilarity in community’s crossways the markets they work in.
This year’s clean-up exercise is in line with Ghana’s ecological cleanliness policy which calls for group of people contribution in ensure good cleanliness for all citizens.
Speaking to the media during the clean-up exercise, Sekou Coulibaly, General Manager of L’Oreal West Africa, said that it is an honor for us to add to the beautification of this iconic beach. As practitioners of beauty here at L’Oreal, the center of this year’s ‘Citizen’s Day’ drive is in particular fitting, as it exemplifies our promise to put in to the visual values that make us immense as a people in cooperation on the in and out.
He added that they are proud of the difference they have made in lives over the years as a result of the ‘Citizen’s Day’ offer and look ahead to more years of giving back.
Over the years, communities in over seventy countries have benefitted from the ‘Citizen’s Day’ drive, with more than twenty eight thousands volunteers taking part globally.
