A Korean report is stating many things from carriers to disclose that the freshly declared Galaxy Note9 pre-orders are doing better than those of the Galaxy S9. Not just that, but the difference between them appears to be rather impressive.
The same source claims that it is just 80 percent of the pre-orders for the Note8, suggesting a few things. The Note8 has been a great success; particularly that it has come out in order to fill in the empty space that the Note7 has left after its battery problems. It may also suggest that Galaxy S9 sales have been much weaker as compared to what they were reported, though Samsung opposes. It could further suggest, and we are persuaded to go with this one, that really the South Korean market is a bit different from rest of them.
The report is further telling about Samsung’s home territory. It is not yet known if the situation is similar on rest of the key Samsung markets. Anyway, it feels good to have some kind of information about Galaxy Note9 pre-order performance, even though it is biased.
