A fresh bug has been seen on devices that run macOS High Sierra which enables any person who gets access to your App Store system preferences. The bug which further records that it is most probably the bug that is going to get repaired in the upcoming update for the reason that the users run the 10.13.3 beta have not been able to recreate it.
In order to find out whether you are affected by this bug, just open system preferences on your Mac, then click on App Store, after that if the padlock on the window has been unlocked, just click on it in order to lock it. After that click on the padlock once more to unlock it and a prompt is supposed to pop up the place where you can enter your password and username. If the bug is present on your computer, you can enter any password and the padlock is going to get unlocked anyway. An editor has verified this and he assures the bug is present.
In the end of November, Apple has presented a security update for macOS High Sierra that had repaired a very serious vulnerability that used to allow the admin to get access to a Mac computer without the need to provide any password.
