Violent clashes between Israeli troops and protesters over US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel capital has increased. Now, at-least four Palestinians killed and hundreds also injured in the West Bank and Gaza.
Around 2,500 Palestinians burned tires and hurled firebombs and attack on police in several West Bank cities. Whereas, other 3,500 clashed with soldiers around security fence in Gaza, the Israeli army further told.
According to Palestinian Health Ministry, two people killed in Gaza who shot in the head. The ministry identified the deceased as Yaser Sukar, age 23 who killed in Shujaiyya located in east of Gaza City. Other person identified as Ibrahim Abu Tharaya who shot during clashes along Gaza borderline with Israel.
According ministry statement, the second person, wheelchair-bound double amputee often photographed at protests in Gaza with a waving Palestinian flag from wheelchair.
The Israel Defense Forces told that, “Throughout yesterday extremely violent riots erupted along the border of the Gaza strip.” “IDF troops fired selectively towards main instigators. Claims were received about two dead Palestinians.”
Two other Palestinians killed in the West Bank, the Health Ministry further added. They identified as Basel Mustafa Muhammad Ibrahim from Anata and Mohammad Ameen Aqel, who injured in Ramallah neighborhood of al-Bireh.
At least 367 others also reported injured seven of them critically. All injured shifted to hospitals in West Bank and Gaza. Moreover, most of them injured by tear gas and rubber bullets.
