The 4th edition of International Trade Exhibition agro-food and plastprintpack West Africa 2017 has opened in Accra. Aim of the exhibition was adding value to the modernization of the West African Plastprintpack and Agrofood industry.
The exhibition is expected to end on December 7, 2017, is featuring over 90 exhibitors from 21 countries.
Algeria, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Iran, Italy, Korea, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom are among the participants.
Some of the exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the program while talking to media.
Some foreign exhibitors who are part of the fair are optimistic about the outcome as they are aware that Ghana has a large and vibrant market.
One of the foreign exhibitors said, we’re private Algerian country based in North Africa. We’re targeting Ghanaian market. We’re far away from Ghana but we’re here because we want to distribute our products here.
An exhibit from a Chinese food distribution and export company also said even though this is their first time in Ghana, they have discovered that Ghana is knowingly placed for business advancement.
The Chinese exhibitor noted, the people are friendly with a big market. And also our tomato pastes and can fish, people like them too much so I think we can get many orders from this fair.
