Dead Rising 4 Adding Fan Demanded Changes in December
Capcom isn’t finished yet with Dead Rising 4. As part of their ongoing efforts to improve and support the game, Capcom Vancouver is making plans to present a large update incorporating many fan-requested changes. These changes vary from the improvement of human enemies to the addition of more meaningful side quests and many little adjustments to the total experience. The declaration was accompanied by a short trailer.
The chief improvement coming for human enemies is the addition of “Maniacs.” Maniacs will be quite more powerful enemies having new weapons. If Frank West wishes to give these unique weapons a try, he will have to defeat the maniac and their minions first. In addition, Human AI will also be improved in general, making them better at using the shield and countering player attacks.
The other huge addition to the game will be here in the form of “Distress Calls.” These will be freshly-scripted missions in which Frank has to complete a mission for a survivor and then guard them against the zombie horde in the time when they run away to a safer place. The prize for completing all these missions will be a unique version of one of the outfits of Frank.
Generally, the update will also count in improved zombie AI, improved controller responsiveness, improved zombie horde pursuit and awareness, increased attack speed, mission tuning and much more. These updates, together with the new game mode “Capcom Heroes,” will be released for all owners of Dead Rising 4 and will be presented to PS4 players as part of Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package.
Dead Rising 4 was already a very fun game regardless of having some faults, but at last, it will be that much closer to the game its fans were initially expecting for when this update gets released on December 5.
