In the WAFU Cup on Thursday, Black Stars B winger Thomas Abbey has communicated his satisfaction with their winning performance against Guinea.
Goals in the second half from Stephen Sarfo and Kwame Kizito mainly revolutionized the Black Stars record of a 2-0 win over the Syli nationale of Guinea in the opening match of Group A at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Substitute striker Kwame Kizito was required just eight minutes to ensure the victory for the Black Stars. Thomas Abbey, who was declared man of the match, spoke to the reporters playing as a standby team supported the team from coming out of their scary outing against Gambia.
He narrated on media that he is contented with their performance they gave today because they have showcased the team work and also followed all the key points taught them by technical team so they are escalated.
Abbey pointed out that their next game against Mali wiis is going to be tougher than this one against Guinea but they’re assured to continue producing the best output to achieve their tournament ambition. The Black Stars match against Mali at the Cape Coast Stadium is on Saturday.
