Flash floods warning have issued in US state of Louisiana after Harvey storm made landfall again in south of state. Earlier, the tropical storm reached to hurricane status. It has also touched the record rainfall in region.
After hovering in Gulf of Mexico, Harvey again hit Louisiana
Till now, Texas City of Houston surrounded by floodwaters while 20 people also reported dead. Most of residents have to relocate from their homes.
However, weather experts say that the weather conditions are getting better now in Texas. Ahead, there is chance of Sun for Houston which proves helpful in tackling the damage.
Houston is called America’s fourth most populous city. The city administration has imposed a night-time curfew to prevent robbing. The authorities and volunteers are still struggling to rescue the stranded people.
Houston mayor, Sylvester Turner detailed that the curfew needed to prevent looting. After hovering in Gulf of Mexico, the downgraded tropical storm has again hit Louisiana.
There is prediction of10in (25cm) of rain in 36 hours in Lowland New Orleans. Earlier in 2005, Hurricane Katrina severely hit New Orleans. Flash flood warning has also issued in area.
President Donald Trump also visited Texas to evaluate the Harvey damage. He reached Corpus Christi with First Lady Melania Trump. Corpus Christi is the place where Hurricane Harvey first made landfall on Friday.
