At-least 30 people killed in a suicide car bomb attack in Kabul, Afghanistan, officials revealed. Other 42 people also got various degrees of injuries.
According to Taliban spokesperson, the bus was under surveillance for months.
Officials are feared that figure of casualties could rise. The blast hit a bus carrying government employees from ministry of mines, officials further told. The Taliban took the responsibility of the attack and also said that they targeted intelligence service officials.
Security forces close the site of Monday’s blast that took place during rush hour. In this blast, three vehicles and 15 shops were also destroyed. The affected district is home of the minority Shia Hazara community.
Moreover, President Ashraf Ghani condemned the attack on citizens and government staff. The interior ministry also accused it as a criminal act against humanity.
