A pescatarian is someone who eats vegetables with sea food or fish. There are a number of health benefits of eating pescatarina diet. People who are pescatarian avoid eating meat or poultry but still eat fish and sea food.

Investigations also show that pescatarians are at 4.8% lower risk of diabetes then meat eaters.

Vegetarian diet is usually lacking in protein, vitamin B12 and zinc incorporating sea food helps full fill these deficiencies. Fish is also a great source of lean protein. Sea food also has various other nutrients like vitamin B12, zinc, selenium, manganese and omega-3.
However sea food especially wild fish can have mercury and other toxins. Pescatarian diet is more better then vegetarian diet because it provides more flexibility in and taste.
