Fred Pappoe, the Accra Great Olympics board member dispels the rumors of disagreement between management and Head Coach, Godwin Attram.
The pressure is mounting on Attram as the Accra-based side are yet to win a game in the ongoing Ghana Premier League. Under such circumstances, Pappoe says, “Supporters and board members have been making suggestions on who to play and who not to play. It is natural for us to suggest players to him. I’m a board member of Great Olympics and so, if I see a player, I can suggest to the coach.”
He assured that there is no problem between the coach and management, “That is the whole issue, there is no problem between Godwin Attram and the board or management. I will, therefore, call on the media to report accurate news and be circumspect in what they report.”
The board member expressed confidence in Olympics saying, “Where were Aduana Stars after six games last season and where did they finish at the end of the season? True, we have a problem and it’s work in progress [but] Olympics will survive and we will not be relegated.’’
