The heartbeat of millions of fans Model Rumbi Feremenga has demised at Parirenyatwa Hospital after a brief illness. She was 34 at the time of her death.
Her aunt Debra has stated that Rumbi’s death was sudden and unexpected, as she did not get ill for a long time.
Rumbi was anaemic, but she maintained very good health and did not get ill for a very long time. She was prepared to get more blood transferred, but sadly died, before the procedure could be completed around 5.45 pm, she said.
She also stated that Feremenga was a very lively and a sociable person who loved helping people in need.
She was a very humorous and a sociable girl & if you even spent a little bit of time with her, you couldn’t stop laughing, because of her great sense of humor. She cracked a lot of jokes & felt privileged in helping the people in need. Almost anyone would feel comfortable around her.
Feremenga initiated her modeling career at the age of 6 with the initial goal to groom herself.
However, within a short time frame, she was being approached and signed by big advertisers & became one of the most famous and in demand model in Harare.
Her notable works include working for Edgars, New Start Centre & Econet Wireless, in hunt for more success & more prosperous opportunities, she moved to South Africa & did work for Soft Sheen Carson Dark & Lovely as a hair model.
Feremenga also did lots of other admirable work including shoots for Fifa & she also had the privilege to be the girl that featured in the video for Sy Ntuli’s blockbuster song Uthando Lungumanqoba, she does not have any children & is survived solely by her husband.
