Herve Renard, the heavily sorted Moroccan coach has hinted that he may apply for the vacant Black Stars coaching job. In the last 24 hours, the professional coach has pulled out of the more lucrative South Africa job.
The present coach of the Moroccan national team was approached by SAFA as they continue their search for Shakes Mashaba’s successor, however it has now been informed that they haven’t agreed on mutual terms.
Moreover, it has been confirmed that SAFA have been forced to look elsewhere for the man to lead Bafana forward. Initially Danny Jordaan’s favorite Carlos Queiroz was the 1st choice but following the Iranian FA’s decision to play hardball for the Portuguese coach’s release, SAFA approached Renard.
Currently, GFA is looking for the coach for the Black Stars as the contract with the Israeli coach has come to an end and the two sides have agreed to not renew it by a mutual consent.
