Godwin Ablordey, the assistant coach of the Kumasi based club Asante Kotoko lauds the squads spirit, energy and enthusiasm. Last season, the Porcupines scored just 5 points from 5 matches and resultantly their coach David Duncan was dismissed.
However, this season, they have played 5 games until now and have cumulated 13 points by wining 4 matches and one draw.
The assistant coach attributes the club’s turnaround this season to the restructuring at the club. He says, ”Change has come in the playing body. Change has come in management; change is good. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the technical team. In terms of motivation, we are happy because everything is going well.’’
He added, ”There is no problem in the technical team or the playing body. The players are not owed signing on fees, salaries or winning bonuses. All that’s left is for the players to deliver and that is exactly what they are doing.”
