Vice president of Ghana Football Association has uttered that the federation is in no urgency to bring in new coach for the Black Stars. Current head coach, Avram Grant will leave his post at the end of February.
The departure of Grant comes as hope for the Black Stars supporters that have been calling for his head after his poor management of Ghanaians. GFA decided not to renew his contract after his shortcomings at AFCON 2017. Grant leaves Black Stars in a poor position to qualify for the upcoming World Cup after Ghana started the qualifying campaign in a poor way that saw them take only one point from 6 available.
Ghana’s upcoming official game is scheduled for August when they face Congo in the World Cup qualifiers.
