OJ is an award winning Gospel artist, who is known in private life as Michael Oware Sakyi looks unhappy over George Quaye’s fresh bribery allegation.
According to the sources, It was reported that management of the popularity of gospel musician, CEBEX Production, has selected out of this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards occurrence due to bribery allegations by the representative for the organizers appealing that, the most inducement offers that come to him in shift for the awards come from the gospel group.
OJ in an interview with the media said that his administration has taken back the forms they stand up to for him to be part of this year’s awards. According to him, he trailed for about 5 nominations before George Quaye’s “careless” statement but according to him, he is not interested in the awards anymore till they name the gospel musicians who offered them for the bribe.
According to his Facebook Timeline post; “I think, enough of the humiliation. All the Gospel musicians really deserve better. It is not about what men can proposal; it’s about something we give to our God. Our God is enough for us!!!!!”
Some Gospel singers have said that their ideas over the harsh comment made by the Head of communication for Charterhouse, and other past champions have also threatened to return the outbreaks to the organisers because they believe their status have been tarnished.
