Miss France Iris Mittenaere
It is confirmed that Iris Mittenaere beat 85 other contestants to win the title from Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila.
According to the sources, as Miss Universe, in her 1st news conference, she said that she is honoured to bring the Miss Universe crown to Europe and France. She hopes that Europeans will surely watch and closely follow the impressive show again after her success.
She further expressed, “I think Europe and France really need a Miss Universe (after 6 decades). In my opinion, we need a Miss Universe because French people really love the beauty show but they don’t actually know Miss Universe because our country never wins (after 1953).”
“As after this year, in my view, a lot of people will be familiar with this and surely will watch Miss Universe. I think French people will love Miss Universe now and indeed every year they will be watching Miss Universe.”
According to her, it has been her dream to become a Miss Universe and her sponsorship is to an extent the importance of education particularly for all the children and young women as well.
Mittenaere was born the northern French town of Lille, is pursuing a degree in dental surgery. She said she expects to an extent the message of good dental sanitation and oral health.
According to Mittenaere, “I failed sometimes in my life. When I believed that I failed the 1st time that I went out in the dentistry registry because as my name was not on the list. And the every passing day I found that I was in the new book. So, I think that when you fail you have to be raised and you have to try again and continue to keep going, I am sure that one day you will be succeeded.”
Moreover, she achieved her dream to bring home the crown again after 1953 when Christiane Martel became the 1st Miss France to win Miss Universe
