Ghanaian Black Stars have lost their X factor in recent times. With Avram Grant leading Black Stars nowhere near glory. It is time that the Israeli leaves for the better. Grant has never had a good relationship with Ghana Football Association and controversies of corruption and things have taken his toll on his reputation among Ghanaian fans.
The Israeli started his tenure with Ghana in brilliant fashion as he led the nation to the final of AFCON 2015 but unfortunately fell short as they lost to Ivory Coast on penalties. But after this feat, He fell out with the Ghana Football Association that started the era of complete disguise for the fans of the game in country. He was hired on hefty package and was expected to take Black Stars to the next level but he failed miserably. As for now he is with the Black Stars in Gabon for AFCON 2017 but he has failed to provide the spark needed in the camp. Ghana edged Uganda in their opening game but were far from convincing in their performance and it seems like he has lost the dressing room.
Grant needs to follow in the steps of John Mahama, who left the presidential seat of Ghana for the better. The Change is the need of the hour. Grant has his opportunity to make his spell with Ghana a successful if he can guide Ghana to glory but it is very unlikely that he would continue after AFCON 2017. It is in the best interest of Black Stars to get rid of Grant who has been demonstrating the tactical and technical bankruptcy.
NO MORE NEED FOR BLUE SHIRTS!
