Fatau Dauda, the Ghanaian goalie says in his latest interview that he is feeling sad for Adam Kwarasey, who has been sidelined from the Ghana’s AFCON squad in the last minute due to back injury.
The head coach of Black Stars, Avram Grant handed a late call to Dauda on Wednesday to replace him with the Norway-based goalkeeper Kwarasey, who joined the team in the UAE, but was force to leave because of a back injury as reported by the media.
He has newly sign a contract with the Nigerian Premier League side Enyimba and had reach UAE where he had joined the team to get ready for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
Dauda reveals during the press conference, “I’m feeling very sad for my brother, Adam Kwarasey, who is preparing well, but injury put him out of the pitch.”
Dauda has joined the squad as one of the three goalkeepers for Ghana at the tournament in Gabon with the other two are – Razak Brimah and Richard Ofori.
