According to the reports from the media, The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has told Confederation Cup campaigners Bechem United that their stadium is not up to the standard of the FIFA, where an international match cannot be host as announced by their Operations Manager Francis Addai.
The Ghana Premier League side, Bechem United are still working out the renovating of their stadium to host the tournament as the CAF have given them a three weeks time to complete the project before the tournament kick-off.
However, the CAF members has personally provide a fully equipped Doping centre and also with a fully equipped press box with internet facilities, which will help them in arranging the facilities.
The management of the Ghana Premier League side is maintaining the pitch and especially the VVIP section to contain international dignitaries as told by the CAF Inspection team.
However, Bechem will play MC Algers in the first and the second leg of the prelims on the 10-12th and 17-19th January respectively, according to the media reports.
