Former President John Agyekum Kufuor
Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has requested Ghanaians to vote for change on Wednesday. They should vote to save Ghana from further decline under National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking at NPP’s rally held at Trade Fair Centre on Sunday, Kufuor said that I believe that Ghanaians are going to troop the polling stations to change the government on Wednesday. They are going to bring the NPP as the new government led by Akufo Addo.
The former President considers that the elections will be a historic week in the records of Ghana. We are voting for the future. Ghana is on a crossroad and we will sort out the right thing with the right leadership. The NPP led by Akufo Addo is the right leadership, he added.
He said Ghana have been the mainstream of developed nations till now. But we missed the way due to mishandling of the economy by the reigning NDC. Kufuor further specified that Ghana had everything primarily but ultimately lost focus until the NPP came into power.
Therefore, Kufuor appealed to the party supporters to vote sensibly with the love of the country in heart to face various challenges. He was also assured for NPP victory in the general elections.
According to him, the victory will start from Accra through Eastern to Ashanti Region. We will gain success in Brong Ahafo region and also share the victory in the other regions, he stated.
