NDP’s Communication Director, Ernest Owusu Bempah
The communications director for the National Democratic Party (NDP), Ernest Owusu Bempah has stated that he will resign from politics if the presidential aspirant of the party, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings fails to get 45% of the total votes from the Volta region ahead of coming elections 2016.
Mr. Owusu Bempah, who is also a parliamentary candidate for Asante Akim North, said this in an exclusive interview with Ekourba Gyasi, adding that Ghanaians are sick of empty promises made by ruling NDC government since last eight years and now they want change. Ghanaians are tired of incompetent Mahama government.
He also took a swipe at President John Mahama for wasting state funds on corrupt projects instead of investing money on useful projects.
He expressed that the wind of change is blowing in Ghana and people are completely disappointed in the Mahama-led government.
He indicated that the failure of NDC government is based on the reputation of the party which is not good. It is a destroyed party with no link to reality. He further said that Ghanaians will not take a risk this time of retaining NDC government because of unfulfilled promises. They are discerning now. They will make a wise choice come 7 December.
