The black queen of Ghanaian music world, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda popularly known by her stage name Mzvee guided the female musicians to work hard with patience.
The dance-hall queen especially counseled the upcoming female artists those aspiring to enter the music industry to be tolerant.
She strongly believed that many female artists lose their dignity when they enter in music scene. She revealed the reason behind her statement by saying that new comers female musicians seemed desperate to do music at all cost and men take advantage of their particular weakness.
‘If you don’t have that (tolerance) and you want to do music some bad people take advantage of you. You are a girl and we know how girls suffer already in this industry so you need to have that endurance.’
She appeared in an interview which was conducted by Doreen Andoh. As she pointed the weakness she also disclosed the key for success. She said passionate ladies should wait for their time. She narrated its major key of success she learnt in her career.
Mzvee is considered as talented female musician of Ghana. She dropped many hit songs and her name appeared in list of those artists who were nominated for BET 2016 awards.
