Xiaomi launching smartphone with bendable screen
Entering the race to make a bendable smartphone, Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker is supposedly working on its own version of such kind of a device.
As stated in a report, the device of Xiaomi made its public unveiling over the internet by means of a 30-second video posted last week.
The video released by Xiaomi did not show the phone being bent but instead it displays a bent screen that is very responsive to touch.
Fordable or flexible displays, bendable smartphones are the future and previously in this year, another Chinese company Lenovo became the first company to display two concepts belonging to the future: a bendable tablet that becomes a phablet and a foldable smartphone that can be converted into a wearable device.
In addition to Lenovo, Korean smartphone-maker Samsung has been working on foldable displays for many years and is supposed to be getting ready to unveil its first foldable smartphone in 2017.
Apple has also gone for official document that propose that it is set to develop iPhones with curved screens.
