Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
2016 Presidential Nominee for NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has claimed that his vision, presented at manifesto launch, was to reinstate dignity, self confidence and hope to Ghanaians which they have lost while living under poor government led by President Mahama.
He said, this is a serious oath taken by him and it would be honored at any cost. His government will bring prosperity in Ghana and make it a worth living place.
He said, he can see the hopeless faces of Ghanaians, their sufferings but President John Mahama is unaware of the hardships confronting people of Ghana and he is unable to hear their moans because President has separated himself from bitter reality.
He said, nobody take this manifesto serious because it has become a trend that all political parties launch a lengthy document full of promises to attract electorates, and many thinks these promises will not be fulfilled due to lack of resources or any other reason.
He said, ‘but let me tell you one thing NPP’s manifesto is not only a list of promises, I will implement all these ideas, my government will provide you all facilities that you deserve to have for living a better life. I will bring development in all sectors. This is my promise.’
The NPP manifesto’ theme is, ‘Agenda for change – Prosperity, jobs and securing the peace.’
