The self-acclaimed dance-hall commando, Shatta Wale has seemed to be not interested in recording a track with Nigerian star, Yemi Alade.
In an interview, dance-hall commando has made speech on several issues rising from his ‘Coke Studio Africa’ contract.
His spokesman, Chris Koney has made such strong statement that Shatta Wale is the highest paid artist for ‘Coke Studio Africa’.
Apart from such agreement, Shatta Wale was planned to record a song with Nigerian celebrity Yemi Alade but he reflected no such interest in recording melody with her.
In an interview, he disclosed that he has a lot of respect for Yemi Alade but due to difference in their sinning styles he won’t be comfortable to record such song.
‘I esteem Yemi Alade too much but it’s not that I do not desire to do that thing (record) with her. I am not into Yemi Alade’s kind of composition because we are both doing different style of music and I wouldn’t be relaxed doing any song with her.’
He sustained that his team are still having a meeting with coke studio authority to see if there can be a modification of things. To support his statement he also added an example.
