Karaga’s newly elected Parliamentary nominee of New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Northern Region says that residents of this area are not happy and are dissatisfied with the performance of National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Sulemana Ibn Saeed has predominantly swiped the incumbent NDC Member of Parliament, Alhassan Sualihu Dandawa for apparently ignoring the Karaga constituency.
In an interview, Elated Sulemana Ibn Saeed claimed that residents of Karaga will reject President Mahama led governing NDC at the December 7 polls.
He is hopeful that residents of Karaga will give him a reward for his support to the Karaga constituency as a social development worker and a former teacher.
Elated Sulemana Ibn Saeed repeatedly called for party union and urged his competitors to rally behind him to lift his chances of winning the seat.
Elated Sulemana Ibn Saeed insisted Alhassan Sualihu Dandawa the incumbent NDC Member of Parliament for the Karaga constituency has survived his usefulness in Parliament.
He requested Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to progress their wellbeing and requested the electorate to enormously vote for him.
Due to resignation of Ibrahim Basha Shaharawi on health grounds has given NPP Parliamentary a chance to primarily re-run in the Karaga.
At the end Sulemana Ibn Saeed has victoriously emerged 208 valid vote cast primarily.
His other 2 contenders, a former District Chief Executive for the Karaga district, Baba Wahab polled 168 votes against Imam Basha Firdaus who polled 28 votes.
