No speaker behind speaker grille of the new iPhone
The new iPhone does not have a headphone socket. So, in order to adjust the place of a headphone socket a stunning thing has been noticed. Now the iPhone 7 owners who picked up the latest model yesterday found a number of speaker holes in its place – but something is quite wrong there.
A teardown repair company made a plan to take the device aside to check out the new hardware, but when they looked behind the extra grille, no speaker was located there.
It has been revealed in a YouTube video that the new second row of speaker holes lead ‘nowhere’, making them totally useless.
As an alternative, the space is consumed by a somewhat larger battery, together with a larger haptic feedback system, a Taptic Engine.
This odd new feature has left people asking many questions like: why make extra holes into a smartphone you’re on the other hand trying to make waterproof?
Maybe we will never know the answer to such type of questions.
