President John Mahama, Lordina Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur at NDC manifesto launch
The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) is all set to launch its manifesto 2016 for this year’s Parliamentary and Presidential elections.
The party is in Sunyani, regional capital of Brong Ahafo to outdoor its manifesto.
More than 50,000 party supporters are anticipated to become a part of this event at the Sunyani Coronation Park and to welcome the administrators of party including President John Dramani Mahama, his wife Lordina Mahama and Ghana’s Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur for the huge event.
President Mahama has already presented manifesto highlights on Tuesday, for telling Ghanaians that if voted in power for one more term, he is likely to create five more administrative regions, providing more than 20 polyclinics and e-text books to students,
Mahama has already given highlights of the much-talked about policy document, revealing that his second term is likely to give Ghana five extra administrative regions, e-text books to tri-cycles for disable persons, two psychiatric hospitals, one meter electricity to every house and many among others.
He stated that the policy document is intended at putting people first, responsible administration and extending framework for creating job vacancies.
Moreover, the Ghana Police Services have guaranteed of extreme security and will fall back on high technology devices, for example, drones to monitor the manifesto launch.
