The dance-hall queen, Kaakie clarified that she didn’t insult the musician EL and she just called him a mummy’s boy.
Kaakie in her fresh songs has been throwing shades at her fellow musicians. She first dropped “Sankwas” which according to many was a dis to her opponent Mzvee.
Just after “Sankwas”, Mzvee also released her single “My Time” which feature reigning artist of the year. The song, which was supposed to be a response to Kaakie’s ‘Sankwas’, gingered the ‘Xtra Large Music’ sign act to release a song she titled “Time Up”.
The dance-hall singer in a recent interview has clarified that why she took time off her busy schedules to write and record the “Time Up” song.
Kaakie said the song was bound for Mzvee and AK Songstress but not EL as many gambled. According to Kaakie, the “Koko” rapper has not insulted her in any way so it was prudent not to attack him.
‘Time Up was a response to Mzvee’s ‘My Time’ and AK’s ‘Article’. He has not done anything to me that is why I did not dis him but just called him terms like Mummy’s boys because in his tracks he says ‘mummy says I should do this.’
