The government of Madagascar has stated Sept. 1, 2016, the day when annular solar eclipse is probable, holiday for health causes, a statement subjected by the government council believed on Wednesday.
Information from meteorology services of Madagascar stated that at 10:59 a.m. the eclipse will start and at 02:29 p.m. end during as the moon will block the sun for 3 minutes and 5 seconds from 12:48 p.m.
The government cautioned Malagasy people to wear special glasses to view the phenomenon.
On Dec.14, 2001, last Madagascar saw this type of eclipse.
