Slaven Bilic, West Ham United manager, has mourned the loss of new signing Andre Ayew due to wound but stays hopeful of considering the Ghanaian back in action before the end of the year.
On Monday, the 26-year-old winger endured a thigh injury during playing his debut for the Hammers against Chelsea.
Initial medical examination disclosed an expected four-month suspend, but the club states the player will suffer more evaluation, among speculations of an imminent surgery.
On Thursday, Bilic stated after his side’s 1-1 impasse with Astra Giurgiu of Romania in the Europa League that with Andre, they know he is their record signing and he is out for 4 months and it’s a big blow, but the time will move and he is a good healer.
He said that Ayew is very professional and later on this year, he is going to be back they hope.
