The Centre for Democratic Development (CDD) has indicated by its latest survey that ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has attacked on them unfortunate, and the pre-election survey showed that seven out of ten Ghanaians are disappointed in the current government and believed that our country is in wrong hands, also government is in wrong light.
However, on the other hand, the Deputy General Secretary of governing NDC, Koku Anyidoho blamed the CDD of making the verdicts in intrigue with the New Patriotic Party to blast the reputation of Mahama-led government near the general elections 2016.
He stated, “It seems that opposition NPP played a mind game against us and put out this, despite everything it remains a bitter truth that the CDD, to the extent are concerned, is an adjunct of the NPP.”
Dr. Kojo Asante, who is senior research member at the CDD, has justified the survey carried out by the party on media news and insisted that their party’s findings are representation of the Ghanaian’s perspectives.
He added, “We have not done surveys for the first time, we have hired experienced people for carrying out surveys. It’s very inopportune to hear this once more. CDD has become an organization from 18 years of serving Ghanaians.”
He additionally clarified that the reason for doing the pre-election survey was “on account of we need this polls to be about issues.”
