The Ghanaian squad for the 2016 Olympic Games has arrived in Rio for the biggest global event to be stage in Brazil.
The members of the squad left the shore of Accra on Monday led by Chef de Mission, Chris Essilfie and were welcomed by the officials of the South American country.
This year’s Olympic Games will have 14 Ghanaian athletes, which begin on Friday, August 5. Ghana will be represented by nine track and field athletes, two swimmers, a boxer, a weightlifter and a judoka, who will compete against some top athletes around the world in their respective games.
