I will not be surprised if I get a Grammy award, because I work really hard, said a well known and self confident Ghanaian dancehall musician.
Here we are talking about none other than Ghanaian Dancehall singer, MzVee who has recently revealed that she won’t be surprised in case she gets a Grammy award.
Ghanaian dancehall musician MzVee born Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, made this statement during her recent Interview on Accra100.5FM yesterday, 30th of July.
According to her, she was not surprised when she was nominated for the International award as she works really hard and gives her 100% for anything she does so she is not going to be surprised to win a Grammy as well.
She told show host that;
“I will be honest, I am not trying to be arrogant or anything but because of who I am, I always expect something good to happen to me because I put my 100 per cent in anything that I do. Because I love it and if I have been nominated for BET before, and I have been the first female to be nominated for Artiste of the Year before, I don’t know why I can’t get another BET nomination and can’t win it even, so I am that kind of person, I have a positive mind, I have positive people around me, I work really hard. So, if I should get a Grammy today, I won’t be surprised.”

“From the minute I got there to the day I left, I was treated like a queen. They made sure everything was on point for me. I was chauffeur-driven everywhere, they made sure they were always checking up on me and we all slept in the same hotel from the president of the BET to the last person working for BET.
